Our home in Grand Haven area.Nice pic - just curious where was that taken (we boat on Erie as well)
They are neighbors of mine in West Michigan, taking it down in the fall, winter in the Keys and Bahamas. Not sure when they're returning and/or where they will eventually slip it. I was on it when they first pulled into GH...beautiful boat inside, steers it with a joystick, loaded to the gills with electronics and such. Definitely stands out! The blue is a wrap....Thanks. Is the owner here to stay or just passing through? Just looked it up......relatively cheap at at $1,300,000 and rated for offshore service. Never heard of the company (no surprise).

I had a 48DA beforehand so moved from a Sundancer to a flybridge. The main reason was having kids and a lounge room with a view became a priority. We have a baby gate where the main door is and our toddler can run and dance around the lounge room burning off energy without us having to worry. The third bedroom was a big plus as well as is the main level galley.
Definitely a fan of the enclosed flybridge. Comfortable in all weather and air conditioned. Mine has a ladder for access which takes up less space than stairs. Personally I'd prefer stairs.
I also looked at a 52DB prior to the Riv and whilst it did some things better, I felt the engine bay was too tight. Having V-Drives on the 48DA, I was really looking for a spacious engine bay that was easy to get around this time.
I got the feeling that the 2008 era Riviera's were a step above that era of Maritimo. You probably need to have a look at some and get a feel for them. If I was looking again, and had a little bit more to spend I would find a Rivera 51 Enclosed with the internal staircase and MTUs.

It’s made by Absolute. It was docked a few times in Charlevoix and we also saw it on Mackinac Island. Quite honestly, I think it’s the ugliest boat I’ve ever seen. But what matters is that he and his family love it and seemed to be enjoying themselves at the marina. Oh, and I’m sure he thinks my boat is ugly too, so as someone already said above, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.....
That Navetta is truly ugly but have you seen the interior? It's really beautiful! Makes you think that you could live with the ugly... I haven't seen one in person but would be curious to see the level of fit and finish.
Here's a story on that boat that's in our local newspaper today:

I believe the limit is 19'1" for the bridge south of Chicago...Not going to talk about the looks, it is taste specific... But I agree the interior is nice, looks very comfortable.
Good for them pursuing the Loop!!! I hope it fits under the bridge in Chicago, or it will be a round trip back to Grand Haven. It looks to be over 18' tall.. I googled it can't find a height anywhere..
Nice to see your boat at
Holy Crap Bill. Your boat looks amazing in technicolor. Time to change out that dreary black and white picture before it starts snowing again.
I wonder if they regret shutting down the larger yacht business. What a difference 2 years make. In retrospect I’m sure Brunswick is happy that they couldn’t find a buyer for Searay! Can’t make em quick enough now.
Probably not - building high profit boston whalers in the palm coast facility now - and they all come with high profit merc outboards NOT someone else's dieselsI wonder if they regret shutting down the larger yacht business.

A 50ft boat with outboards is stupid!
