I will run the numbers later, but to have the dealer do the work I did over the last three days would have been in the $3,500 range. My cost for parts, fluids, etc. was around $300, and I know it is done right.

Skip, you the man! I hear you on the "done right" part. Lessons learned and now that's my motto on basically anything and everything.
Ok, so it looks like I only put 24 hours on my boat this year. . Looks like 12 times this year. I guess thats ok, considering we trailer it and have a 5 and a 3 year old. Not to mention our boat is way undersized for the Chesapeake/Potomac River area and limits the days we can go out (Weekend weather seems to be always windy, while weekdays the water is glass???).
But we were just out this past Monday, Veterans Day (observed) in 57 degree cloudy but calm weather. Had the kids dressed in their snowpants, gloves and hats. Trolled for Rockfish, no luck. But it was fun being out. On the way back in, it was sad to think this was the last time until next year. But if we get a perfect day in the next couple of weeks, we'll be back out for one last trip!
