Here's a couple pics of a lift I finished up last fall. I use hydraulics and it takes about 45 seconds to lift 8 feet. Boat weighs about 40,000lbs when loaded up. Port_Side.jpg

Bow.jpg, Not sure if this works, 1st try

Living the dream! I love it.

Nice set up.

Do you have some close up photo's.
I like to see how the boat is studded.

 Peter

I will Try to explain as I don't have close ups as of yet. It has 4pcs. 12 inch aluminum I beams going across underneath wich have 2inches of Juniper wood for cushion on each one. they rest directly on the bottom (2 near the rear sling point and 2 in the front) Most all the weight is on the centers of these I beams except the aft end. The total bend calculated to 1inch of deflection. I set it up so that there are outboard supports that let the outer edges of the beam set on blocks after there is 1/2inch of bend in the beams. I still have most of the weight in the center. On each end of all 4 beams 3/4" cables go up around pulleys and are raised by the hydraulic cylinders. I do have drawings for all of this but there are quite a few. If anyone is really interested I will get more detail and show with close up pics. I did not think anyone would have that much interest on how it was made. Thanks for the compliments though!

Very Impressive:thumbsup:

Very nice job. Impressive size boat for a lift. You don't see many boats that size around here on lifts.
