I know this weekend marks the end of the summer, however my wife and I had a proud first. After three years of blood, sweat, tears and swears, we christened and overnighted on our 1990 250 Sundancer for the first time. Our 7 month old daughter Aubrey Celeste was also there to help spill some champagne, fitting since the boat is named after her...My Aubrey Sea.
The weekend couldn't have been better and was everything we both dreamed it would be. It was hard to keep our eye on the dream, esp when installing the new headliner when she was 7 month pregnant! :smt021 ( I dont advise trying that one!) . Everything has been gone over, replaced, rebuilt, etc. The cabin renovation was tough, mechanics I can do, sewing and upholstery was a frustrating challenge for us. The entire cabin is brand new. Its a very proud feeling launching something that you know inside and out. I have bought new boats before, but nothing compares to something like this.
Thank you all for your help and guidance through the whole process. I'm sure I will ask much more, but now I can offer some real world Sea Ray experience as well. Couldn't have done it without everyone, we thank you all!!!
