Where would be the best place to put a shore power 30amp inlet plug in a 1996 215ec.(not to many flat spots).Better yet where dose searay put them?I was thinking on putting it in the inside of the cockpit.

The transom is connceted to the engine compartment,not good.Thanks for all the info GDWhy can't you mount the inlet plug on the back transom? That is where I had them mount it on the 240SD and it was not flat. I'm not sure about the 96 model but on the later model I was looking at I thought I could mount the inlet just to the right of the walk through door on the back transom. I would then mount the control panel under the sink in the cabin. You can see how it was mounted on the 240SD in my picture album under my profile.

Chuck,No pics but I mounted the in let plug behind the starboard seat inside the cock pit.The controll panel is mounted in the cuddy on the starboard side next to the removable panel that gives you access to the back side of the instrument panel.It looks good.Cool, I assume you are talking about the inlet plug. Do you have any pictures? Where did you mount the control panel?
You would not have the plug in the engine compartment, it would be outside the boat?
