When setting up your anchor, at what point are you tying the support lines to the chain? Are you letting out chain and then moving forward to create the slack to run the support line?

Andy I read your post reagrding the north Channel. I immedatley said to myself that I would love to do it one day but my current boat is too small. Then I looked at yours and see it identical to mine! how many people will you take on the trip? Do you feel comfortable making the crossing from Green Bay? Will you trailer it to Macinaw? I keep my 260 at the Green Bay Yacht club and took two trips to southern Door county this year. I wil stretch my legs next season farther north in DC. Hope to see you on the water.
