Baltimore

The witch hunt is on.

I don't have enough facts to render a judgement, but the rush to indict is proof positive of political motivations and not justice.

Indeed.

Some questions;

How can a States Attorney come to any conclusion of charges when the autopsy and investigation isn't complete? (that's scary)

2nd degree (depraved heart) murder - because of no seat belt? "You do know that a seatbelt WAS NOT required 3-4 weeks ago for the city of Baltimore police department"

False imprisonment? How can the cops be charged with this? Cops can question and apprehend a suspect, especially if they resist.

Assault in the 2nd degree? No video or proof of assault 'yet'. Again, the full autopsy and investigation is not completed.

Misconduct in Office? what?

Currently, unsubstantiated 'conclusions' from our media, has played a large part in these riots IMO. If it is true, that the cops being charged neglected to take Grey to the hospital when he requested, and instead responded to ANOTHER call, I could understand Manslaughter charges and/or Gross Negligence.....but 2nd Degree Murder?

These charges in my opinion where governed by a MOB Rule mentality. What Mosby provided was only solace to the MOB by leveling these charges - and that's unfortunate.

The DA took money for her political campaign from Freddie's attorney. I learned later the two are related. I hope this blows up in her effing face. I also hope the truly guilty are brought to justice and the truly innocent are exonorated and do what they must to bring things into line to include suing the living sh!t out of the DA for whatever they can get out of her.

CVS Released its report on the incident. The only two items that were not taken from the CVS pharmacy that was looted in Baltimore--- Father's day Cards and Suntan Lotion.

Hey, as long as they fired up the football thread......

This Baltimore thing is really screwed up....the cop that made the initial decision to go after Freddy doesn't have all his marbles and neither does the leader of Mosbys investigative team, along with Mosby and the medical examiner are calling each other out...he says he never called it a 'homicide'. This while the media claims the guy that says he was in the van isn't really the guy, they say the real guy is in jail.

And if that isn't good enough the media also has an unidentified cop who wasn't involved with the incident at all, who claims to know everything there possibly is to know about it. Like what you ask?...Well, like they saw Freddy do a drug transaction, that's why they chased him down, but of course they didn't put that in the record for why they chased him because according the disguised cop, 'sometimes they just do that'. Phewww! I still think Freddy shouldn't be dead and it's beginning to look like he wasn't the only fckup in the group.:smt021

So you think Freddy accidently broke his own neck while in police custody? Apparently Baltimore doesn't see it that way.

Doesn't matter what I think. It is highly unusual to have a suit settled before the family even files. What about all the other broken necks over the years? They only got the $200,000 max because settlements are capped. So why is he more special than the other victims of rough van rides?

What about the law abiding business owning tax payers who are paying twice? Once with their burned looted business livelihood and again from the higher taxes they will surely pay.

Sounds like your very concerned about this. I can assure you your answer wont be found here. I suggest you get to the bottom of this and post back. I personally don't give a rats a$$ how Baltimore spends their money

That's because you don't have friends and family who live there. Just wait until your neighborhood takes a shi!t.

If you say there's a settlement cap and your concerned, isn't there a better direction to finding your answer? I hope my town never resembles Baltimore, I would move long before

The first is simple. The cap exists under Maryland law, whereas the forthcoming suit would have been a federal civil rights violation. No cap there.

the second is why we have the right to vote.
