That date works. My wife is in school right up until the previous weekend.

I just hope the guy that owns Four Suns lets me borrow it for that weekend.

Sure sounds tempting. It's my Admiral and I's 10th Anniversary next June. We're suppose to go to Hawai'i. Maybe I should take her to the Bahamas then meet up with you knuckleheads at the end of or beginning of that trip.

Those dates are fine with me, but the rule is whoever starts the thread is the designated cruise director.

"cruise director" sounds more like a term for the Navy.

If it is 30 days or less and is close to a beach somewhere, call the Marines.

You need cruise directing, you call the Navy.

Sandy and I would like to attend also, should we call the Marina directly or make the reservations though this site?
 
The way this worked for BIH '08 is that Festivus called and gave the Marina staff the Club Name (CSR) and the dates. Each captain then called the Marina, mentioned the Club Sea Ray gathering, and made his/her own reservations.

Last year we all had to mail in $30 checks to hold the slips. So--my good and dear friend Mr. Festivus will call the Marina and warn them, oops I mean tell them, that the CSR gathering is coming. Once he does that we can call and reserve slips individually.

We also kept a running tally of boats that were planning to attend; so- here goes:

That notwithstanding...

I have reserved 25 slips (that's about how many we had this year) at Inner Harbor East for June 27th and 28th, 2009. I have also reserved access to the party dock and tent and I have requested that we all be located as close as possible to the tent. As of now, there are no sailboat groups on the books so we are officially "first in line".

Here's what each interested captain needs to do...

Send a letter to the marina along with a check for $15 per night requested. Feel free to cut and paste from the following (filling in the red parts all on your own):
