No I haven't. The Corps tests the water in our lake frequently and quickly identifies any sources of e-coli and other contamination. They issue large fines for contaminators.
The shat plant that services Eastern Baltimore County is hopelessly outdated. Was built before this portion was developed. Whenever we get bad rains millions of gallons of raw sewage get released into Back River and right at the mouth of the river is Hart Miller Island, a boater accessible only area that is mobbed with boats and swimmers on weekends. Wont catch me there anymore.

Local Michiganders are starting to panic... 3 days in a row of maybe 90°. I'm sure they are the ones with the house ac set at 68°. ;)

I just got in from mowing the lawn. The dumb air is bothering me more than the heat. Which isn't bad at all. 85° and the dew point is 62°.

I'm first to admit I'm the complainer in the cold. Starts at 40° and my bellyaching just gets worse as it gets colder than that.
Funny how the dems and the media arm of the democratic party are claiming this "heat wave" is climate change. Back in 1990 I was working with my brother doing asphalt paving. St. Louis had 14 days in a row with the temperature above 105 degrees. Every day we hired new workers and every day they quit. But nobody blamed climate change for the heat. "Extreme weather" has been happening my whole life. When I was 8, we got 3 feet of snow in one night. That was back when we were heading for another Ice Age. It's all a bullshit money grab.

I get that. We have an outdated plant on the Mississippi that does the same. One of the reasons I am not a river boater, even though it is 3 hours closer to my house.
