I am working with a partner in Pakistan to import Pink Salt. We are going to start doing it with Salt Licks for cattle and horses etc since it is the easiest form of it to sell in bulk. The hope is to stick to wholesale. Anybody on here using it for their livestock, or know someone who is, or that may want to use it?

You can google the many benefits of this salt. It's all the rage anyway for all sorts of things.

Here is an example https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08TVBF1J...t-supplies&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9kZXRhaWw

Horses - The salt blocks have other minerals mixed with it besides just salt.

We always had salt blocks in the fields when I was a kid on the farm. I was the kid that had to carry them out there…they were like a cubic foot…. Heavy as hell.. that was 50 years ago….. so now there is better salt these days?

They weigh 50lbs. I buy them for my steers, I usually get two each spring, and butcher in the fall.
You're right, they're heavy for their size.

Does raising steers for your own consumption pay off? I have plenty of land to raise a few but don’t know if it would pay off.

It sure does. We only buy two, sell one. I don't end up getting mine for free, but it's really inexpensive. We figured it up one year, I don't remember the exact price, but we're under $2lb for ours.
If I had room for one or two more mine should be free.
Plus, it keeps me from having to mow the pasture every couple of weeks.
