American Flag Not Allowed

I think the school's administration should be reprimanded. I think the entire school population should wear American flags on their clothes to show their support for old glory and this country and our basic rights.

Hey guess what, YOUR IN AMERICA.... I frankly don't care what you want to celebrate...go ahead, have fun, don't hurt anyone or break any laws, that's one of the liberties that makes this nation GREAT. But this ?&*%$ about not being allowed to show AMERICAN PATRIOTISM on another nations holiday is BS. These boys did not have inflammatory images that were directed at degrading Mexican Americans. They had on tee-shirts and bandanna's (IMO - I don't agree with the bandanna thing in shcool) that showed OUR NATIONS Flag...if you're of a different heritage and you find our flag incendiary, that go I think the educators that tried to enforce this should be suspended without pay and should be reminded of what country they're standing in.
 
this has been all over the internet this morning... I would go to the school board and let them know that I would support who ever was going to run against them next term.. and I would donate to their opposition
 
Constitutional rights have been violated. Terminate the employment of the individuals who made the decision to send the kids home. And if anyone is offended by our Old Glory, get out of our country!
 
This politically correct nonsense has got to stop. Either we as voters rein it in or the laws of economics will do it , bringing major trouble to all of us. Showing the flag is now considered "incendiary"??? When is enough enough???

You want to straighten out our educational system, first thing would be to straighten out the administration and the teachers. The same idiots that make these kind of decisions are teaching our kids.
 
This maked my blood boil. First of all, if psycho de mayo means that much, go back south of the border to celebrate, permenantly. Second, if it was on of my kids, they would be going back to that school wearing the Gadsden flag. Schools these days don't even know what the Constitution is, let alone teach about it.
Milwaukee public school system is laying off several teachers because of budget shortcomings yet they just hired a new superintendent at $265,000 per year plus a new car to use. The previous spt. earned $165,000. (Note, Thorton is here as the result of MPS paying an Iowa research firm $80,000 to conduct this search for a new Superintendent.)
It's definately a frustrating time in this country.
 
Yellow flag with the coiled up snake that says "Don't tread on me". It was used before and during the revolutionary war.
I almost forgot. You and every other American, both born here and naturalized citizens are most welcome for my service. I'd do it over and over again in a heart beat.

I agree with the person that said this makes my blood boil. Having served and being a proud American I want to slap the sh&% out of a school administrator who would think this was an appropriate decision. And if the student who said that they were being disrespected, move your #ss back across the border. What is happening to this great country of ours? Now I am in a foul mood. Need to go visit the boat and display my American Flag :thumbsup:
 
ghuskin, I fly one proudly also. I have t-shirts and stickers with it too. Thomas Jefferson warned us of these types of things happening.

I'm so freaking mad over this action by the school's administrators that for the first time I wish I lived in the Bay area so I could take some action agains the administration. I'd be out there next year, standing tall on the sidewalk, waving my large American flag and just hoping that someone would be offended by it. I'd give him a piece of my mind and explain in not-so-polite terms why I'm a staunch patriot and what border he can cross back over if he didn't like my flag or my attitude.
 
Man this just chaps my a**. Look at the souce "The Kingdom of San Francisco and their exhulted Queen Pelosi", I would bet she even called the school admins to thank them for helping to chip away at the foundation of "our" USA.

S I guess you can't wear the US Flag on Boxer day? Don't want to offend Canadians living in the USA.
