I've got a 2002 340 Amberjack. I can't locate the a/c filter. I suspect it's/they are missing. Does anyone know where they are supposed to be located (under cabin entry steps)?
To add to Jennifer B's excellent answer:
I have the 6.2 with BIII in our AJ270. With 2 adults and 2 children on board with full fuel and water we get about 14 - 15 GPH @22kts. (3900 rpm)
It is a little sluggish with 6 on board but acceptable.
Do you know what pitch props you're running?
Oh come on, one picture...thats a tease.
I'm on the fence between the 290 Amberjack and the Wellcraft 290 Coastal. When the time comes to buy, I'll have to Sea Trial both and see.
More pics......pics of the engine bay would be nice too.
Congrats on the new purchase. have fun with her.
Youngin19 congrats!!! The 290's are great combos for cursing and fishing! I noticed that the boat was previously registered in Rhode Island. Does the boat have about 200 hours on the engines? Does it have a genset?
