I own a Sea Ray Sundancer 320 2004 and I cannot get any cold air from the a/c unit, it gives me a P5 code on the control after a few minutes of running. Any suggestions ? Heat and fan work just fine. Thanks.

We just got that same code on our forward AC. I am having an AC guy look at it on Monday. The code is in your manual. The manual says high temp on the high pressure side due to lack of flow. We have a clear hose to the unit and there was no water in it. The AC guy thinks that it may be clogged up with growth.
We got the following symptoms.
The AC will turn on.
It will run for a few minutes.
The system shuts down and the P5 code flashes.
I will let you know next week, but my guess is you are having the same lack of flow issue. My other thought was that a pump may be bad, but all of the other three AC units work fine.
Why do you need to know what type of boat I have?
