Does anyone know the degree of angle that the radar mounting site on the bridge roof has. I need to have a mounting plate made for my mast because the forward support leg is keeping it from leaning forward and there's s gap at the forward portion of the mast . Let me know if anyone's knows what that angle is built into it.

I replaced all my window exterior rubber last year. As with most 480's, the trim was shrinking and the joints had broken leaving gaps. This did not affect the windows ability to seal, but cosmetically was not ideal.

I purchased the trim from

www.taylormarine.com
In the parts section under windshield parts - glazing assembly / vinyl

To seal and bond the corners, an automotive trim seal works.

Yz , how did you know which type to buy and is this the window trim or the larger rubber molding ing the track , let me know what you bought I have a 2003 as well .

OK, I will track down the part numbers that I ordered. It was the large rubber molding in the track. There are two different trims. One type for the front windsheild and the other fits the side.

I called Taylor and they said I needed to go through my Sea Ray dealer. It sounds like you ordered directly from Taylor. I would like to go direct so any help would be great. Thanks

Well, since it's so damn COLD to do anything topside on the boat, I have been spending my time in the engine-room with the block heaters on , Cleaning all the ground connections through out the ER and lazarette. Current outside Temp. 15 degrees.

It's either that or stay home and post threads and buy stuff online for the boat.:smt024:smt024

Looks like you have ground wires and bonding wires tied together. This is a big No-No. Maybe someone just used the wrong color wire?

I'm pretty sure this is the original wiring from the factory. I will try to trace the greens. But I would bet they are bonding wires being the crimp terminals are the same as on the other bonding connections.

I'm going this weekend to fix the gap I have from the mast to the bridge roof, seaview sent some angled spacers for me to install, here's a pic , zoom in and you'll see ...

Has anyone ran gauge information for the genie to the bridge , I hate that I have to assume everything is just fine while we're running or cruising and genie is on , I wonder if it can be tied into the MFD ???
