Sea ray cuts this jumper. Reconnect and install Maretron. I get all data on all screens.
I am thinking this as it gives me some more control than just viewing.

Interesting. Thoughts on mounting locations? Always thought starting and stopping genset at the helm would be nice.

I think I would mount it high up, near where the speaker for the VHF is.
Convenient enough, but I dont need to see it all the time.

So it just loops into the control harness system. You could either tap it off the main panel in the salon where the current on/off switch is or right from the gene. They have pre-made harnesses plug and play.

Bought my boat in Boca. 12.5k to get it to Long Island. That would be an expensive vacation. Lol

Maybe it’s automatic. Shaps. Ask Scott about pre heat on his 58. That’s a Gorgeous boat by the way.

His boat is really beautiful, and those MAN 900s run sooo nice.
He was the guy I was going to ask, just didnt want to text him @ 7am

Sounds great guys... Look forward to hearing back on this.

According to my buddy, that panel does not allow you to pre-heat. He said he goes down below to turn it on and always starts it from there, using the preheat button on the electrical panel in the salon.
Also, he said that whenever he shuts the generator off from that remote, the alarm sounds until he shuts it off downstairs.

@Aml327
what part number is that?

Maybe i'll just wire it up to have it display on the vessel view or the MFDs.

i hate the idea of alarms going off, and if I can't prime/start and stop without going down below anyway, what's the point?
