Yes thats correct. I could not make the factory switch and dimmer work so I them out. It is under the helm (there are 2 of them 1-lights, 1-dash lights).

Popped in some new grommets today, wow what a difference. Getting my panel from Technografics this week, can’t wait to put my dash back together..

Crazy how such a small maintenance item can make such a difference. I need to paint my wiper arms so this is definitely a must do. Where'd you get the grommets or what size? Thanks!

Hey all, I’m doing a little house cleaning and have a box of various odds and ends spares from my now traded in 07 48 Sundancer. Before I list them on eBay I figured I’d see if anyone needed any of the following they may have broken or need replacements...
I have my OE Clarion Head unit
2 Clarion wired station remotes
1 - 1 season used transom zinc (magnesium)
1 - 1 season used trim tab zincs (magnesium)
Original cockpit hardtop light fixtures
1 Blank switch cover - replaced with USB
Brass throttle and trans knobs
Oval light covers for indirect lights
5 new LED oval indirect lights
I know some of this has little or no value and some of the items can fetch a few bucks. DM me for more details.
Also, since I traded the boat, I negotiated the new spare props I bought this season out of the deal (a friend was looking at a used 48 that never came to the market and was going to take them off my hands as spares). They were never installed and will include the holders to keep them on the boat. I will be listing those in the classifieds and eBay this weekend but again, DM me if interested before I list. They are new, never installed ACME props bought from Holland Propeller in Michigan. I’ll have the specs in the morning.

I had exactly 4 days on the water before putting her away. It would take a lot of convincing to make that happen. I’ve never looked forward to Tax Day more in my life. Scheduled splash is April 15...
 
What do you have to have for the props?

I have had both, In boating everything is a tradeoff. The cockpit in the 460 is preferable IMHO for a larger family, the port seat in the 48 is great. The full windshield in the 48 is great as long as its not too hot. I never like to run my cockpit AC , fresh air is preferable. The helm area is very good in the 48. The cockpit seating in the 48 can be a little tight for 6 people. The salon is nicer in the 48. The diesels in the 460 are underpowered and or the props need adjustment. Both run and handle great, I thought all things equal the 48 ran a touch better, but the 460 is no slouch as long as you run her at slightly lower rpms. Both great vessels.
