So I got my 2 fuel pump pipes today, any luck on these brackets?

I heard from Sam today at Technografics that my new dash panel is ready. Looks like this weekend I will be installing my new to me GS165's. I am also going to play with my Vessel View 703, all my harnesses came in and I want to plug it in and give it a test.

Also y buddy from NJ found a Silverton convertable for sale in Pompano he wants me to go look at....

What is everyone else up too?[/QUOTE
I'll follow up again tomorrow on those brackets. My boat is still in the yard having the old holes glassed up for the new hull lights and all the other below the water line stuff. I'm still interested in your electronics...btw.

Grant, 40 knots!!?!? Damn!

On the GS165s, are you adding a remote anywhere with buttons/knob?
Where does the map chip go on those?

no remote at this time, touch screens work well for me. The external card readers are flush mountable but for now I don't have space so they will go underneath behind the hatch door where I can get to them as needed. With the Navionics charts and the raymarine wifi I can update them over my phone pretty easy so not sure I even need "forward facing access but I got them and will mount them on a panel underneath just incase. I will take pics as I do this.

You should come up to NY to get away from that nasty Fla weather!
Those screens can wait a week..

Cool. Will any part of that be visible?

Ok day one removed the old, marked and cut. Then decided to go ahead and test the new VesselView 7 that I got. Fellow member RLynch really helped out getting me the info on all the harnesses and “PLUG & PRAY” worked perfect first time!!! Now that it is tested I can move forward with building a custom mount to fit it where it doesn’t fit...LOL. As for the MFD’s they are cut and fitted so tomorrow I will finish cleaning and wiring everything up. I am super happy so far, can’t wait to see them powered up tomorrow...

@ocgrant Those look amazing. You really used every millimeter there.
What's holding the tecnografics frame in place?

2 things, small screws under the flush mount area of the MFDs and the raymarine mounting clamps for the MFD's, clamp the screen to the dash fiberglass frame. So they are litterally clamping the themselves in place, with the small screws just being used as guide pins. I wanted it this way to match the upper gauge mount, no panel screws for a cleaner look. I will shoot some pics today of the mounting.

Looks great.. what are you going to use for a controller.
Haven't thought that far ahead. As of now, just plan to use the original toggle switch. Any suggestions? BTW, your electronics look awesome! I'm pretty jealous!

Well, looks like I answered my own question:
http://lumiteclighting.com/poco/
I wasn't planning to get this fancy but this thing seems pretty inexpensive and I have all winter to spend money and work on this thing lol

Have it and I would recommend. I haven't even gotten into all of its features but we use it to control the underwater lights and all of the speaker lights on 4 zones.

Ohh wow, I didn't even consider the lights on my speakers. Looks like my winter projects are lining up. Where did you mount it?
