460 DA Owners Thread

We have the screw in pedestal with the base mounted under the lid for the swim ladder. It works great and is completely out of the way. It also places the grilling well away from the boat for smoke, grease etc.
+1 Also bought the grill storage bag and keep it under one of the cockpit seats when not in use.

I believe the regulator is part of the connection point for city water. I've had to replace mine due to a leak. I don't remember a filter but recall the pressure limit was 35 psi.

Where do I find this pressure regulator please

Graham

Graham, The connection point is the regulator. It is one unit. Sea Ray part number 141168 on my 2005.

Pick up our new to us 2001 460 yesterday. while taking the hour ride back to our marina, the starboard oil pressure was up to about 80psi while on plane while the port was at 40-50 psi. any help or insight would be appreciated.
John

Anyone know the part number and where I can get a replacement for the exterior forward vent on the port side roughly 3"x6" in size.

I think you are talking about the clamshell cover. The part number I have is 957175 in white. I would call Marine Max. They should be able to tell you if Sea Ray still has them.

I don't know if the 450 is the same as the 460 but check the gauges mounted on the engine for a more accurate reading in the first instance.

2001 460. We have no power to galley outlet, outlet in cabinet behind sink and the ice maker. Galley lights work so the breaker is working.is there a hidden gfi . That i cant find?

There are three GFI's that I know of. One in each of the heads. Inside the cabinets on mine. Also a GFI in the bilge. I believe that one is not hooked to any other system.

Mike

Found the problem gfi under the galley sink was tripped

Are you talking about the clamshell cover or the small grille for the horn that's near the bow? If it's the horn grille, you can order a stainless steel replacement from Marinco, part #11066. Looks much better than the original plastic.

Not the clam shell the horn cover. Sorry

I replaced my horn cover last year. Don't have the parts manual in front of me but any Sea Ray dealer can get it.

Josh

The AFI horn cover in stainless is part number 11066. $18.98 on Amazon
I got tired of replacing the plastic one and went with the stainless one.

Going to be rewiring the central vacuum so the switch is easy for the admiral to get to. Our 320 had it right near the hose connection. Currently the only way I see to turn on the vac. Is on the canister itself. Has anyone added a switch in the salon

There is a switch on the main unit but the actual "switch" is built into the hose. If you look closely at the end of the hose it makes contact with the door of the inlet and that's the switch. Once you insert the hose the vacuum turns on. When you unplug it the vacuum turns off.

Our Vacuum stays on with out the hose inserted.

I am not at the boat but here is what I think. The switch on the actual vacuum under the galley storage hatch is a three way. On, off, and switched. I think it needs to be in the switched position and then it will make the vacuum work when the hose is inserted into the inlet. I am thinking this all through memory so forgive me if I make a mistake but you should be able to follow the wires from the main unit to the inlet and can trace your issue that way. If not, give me the model number and I'll look at a diagram. I know it is a beam but can't remember the model. Also make sure your male side has the metal ring when you insert it and it is clean as that is the part that makes contact and completes the circuit.
