Didn’t know that but why would they undercut their resellers ?

I bought one a few years ago and had been talking to them for a few days. Just called them and asked it they could beat “XX” price and they did so by about $25 or so....

GEEEEZ !!!..... what a frickn morning. Woke up on the boat to all 3 carbon monoxide detectors beeping... unplugged them all. Go in guest head and the red light is on...check breaker everything is fine but it is not pumping. Go in fridge to get a drink and it’s warm...wtf ?

So go back to the panel and my Port batteries are low....take tray out and battery charger is acting erratic...pegging needle going dead then comes back on and blinks green....sporadically charging Port side.... starboard side is fine needle steady. So this thing is done ordered a new one from Pronautic. Mean while ran down to Walmart to get a charger and batteries are back to normal

pull fridge out... I can’t see anything going on in there...every thing is fine but the compressor won’t come on.

I have so much crap in the back I can’t lift hatch to check why the vacusystem is malfunctioning.... not a good morning
I'm so jealous you are on your boat!

I lost the fridge last night it has power just stopped cooling. The Freezer is working fine and it’s a combo unit and sharing the same power source. The setup is a Coolmatic RSD-115 it’s original so getting up in years.
Is there anyway to troubleshoot?
If replaced what did you guys do replace both fridge and freezer?...if so with what
I had the same issue with my freezer last year. I bought it in to a local marine refrigeration service and turned out it needed Freon. Worked fine all last season and still holding temperature this year.

In my case the compressor isn’t running... the day before and last weekend it was fine... I have power coming from the converter...so it has to be the controller.... if not my wife said get new...her fingers are crossed :(

I’ll tell you though this $40 8A charger from Walmart is rocking these two Port batteries...up to 13v. Going to keep this on the boat ...in case someone needs it...it’s small enough
I just noticed the dirt....don’t judge....I was suppose to clean the cockpit today before I got served this shit show for breakfast this morning

Isn't that what every boat looks like 15 minutes after you spend 2 hours cleaning it from bow to stern?

Got the canvas installed on our new cockpit cover. Came out perfect. Looks like it came with the boat. As promised, here are some pics

Next phase is adding removable panels around the sides for when the boat is stored. Not a fan of the “camper canvas” look, but should be good to keep the rain out, sun off the upholstery, etc.

That came out so nice!!!! Great design and execution

Our first night on the boat last June all CO2 sensors started screaming. I unplugged them. Given we survived the night, my guess is a malfunction. Left them that way. In the morning Broker suggested replacing them. Any suggestions most welcome.

If all of them are going off...it may be exactly what they are there for...CO detection, so be careful!!

However, they will all scream on low voltage (low battery), usually about 3 am just as everybody is sound asleep lol!

They have a life span (the new ones are 7 years). I just replaced the 3 original CMD-2M's with new CMD-5M. West marine had them on sale for $90/pc. These have a time weighted average trip point to avoid nuisance alarms. I also have a couple of Kidde portable as well.

Has anyone added a 110v receptacle behind the captains chair?.... if so, where do you get the power source?

Did you need to add the new mounting plate to do the upgrade (cover the old hole)?

I replaced three as well and yes, bought and used the new cover plate. As Blueone asks...no idea why they could not make the new ones the same size and shape of the old ones....

I added a 110v outlet to the port side arch and pulled another line across the front of the ER and up beside the captain’s chair. I installed two new 110v 15amp breakers in the electrical panel and came from the back of it down the port side, into and across the ER. I added one outlet in the ER and ran on over to the captain’s chair with another on that line.

For those of you that have replaced the battery charger....how did you do it?
I can see me going head first in there sort of.... there is no way I am fitting in there feet first.

Following......I am 6’4” with a fairly wide wing span and this would not be easy.....

I was on my boat yesterday and I noticed the fresh water pump would come on for just a second every half hour so I know I am losing pressure somewhere. I looked at the water manifold and didn't see any leaks but I remember having problems on my previous boat that had the same hose connections. I had one start to leak and I couldn't get the connection to seal after I had taken it off. Because it was a 3 foot hose that went from the manifold to the water heater I was able to replace it and the new hose sealed. Before I start is there a special procedure to get those hose connections to seal?
