There is a separate breaker for the AC pump.Make sure that it is on.If yours is the same as mine, it is the 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] from the bottom on the left side of the panel.

Thanks for the quick reply but that was also switched on, it seems what ever sends the signal for the pump to activate has failed if there is such a thing? im thinking something stupid as it worked flawless..........

Well...we are pretty excited. Have a deposit on a 98 400 Sundancer. Tons of upgrades. Cosmetically it is amazing. And knowing the owner I'm sure mechanically it is as well. Its still in storage. Out of water survey portion on the 8th. Has he CAT 3116 with 1076 hours. CAT s coming out to change impellers, all fluids and sea trial on the 13th. Should be an awesome boat for our family.

Unfortunately, i not traced the wiring for that so I don't know what to look for or if there is a fuse that could have blown. I may have the owners manual for the AC, if I find it I will try to see if anything is in there that could help.

So for those who may want to know the "relay box"is mounted on behind the main power panel on the inside of the starboard hull. Took the cover off all tested good power is going out yo the pump. 1 wire goes to a junction box under cabin entry stairs then through bulkhead to pump. Wanted to test at junction but the friggin cover is glued on need more tools.....Im thinking I need a pump though......

Main Cabin Door Seals....any idea where to get them? They have a nylon insert that fits in the door with a round sealing surface connected to the insert. Mine have been failing for a few years and are about toast.

The original vendor was Spartech Marine Products. Spartech closed their marine division in 2009, but Teak Isle bought some of their molds, fixtures, etc. You might try them.

Well…bad news about the boat. Had the hull survey this morning and right from the get go it was bad. The hull below the rubrail from the vent behind the two port lights all the way to the other side vent is wet. Down to that first decorative lip in the fiberglass. It about 25’ all the way around from one vent to the other. Moisture reading was in the red the entire way. Also found very high moisture readings on a few of the drains on the port side near the stern as well as all the supports for the swim platform. But this is the reason you hire a good surveyor. From the exterior, the boat looks amazing. Now the search beings again.

That's a bummer, and not as rare as it should be. A friend of mine had a 450DA surveyed years ago and moisture was found in the same area you described. It's unfortunate all the way around, even when you find it pre-purchase.

When CSR-member Jaws was boat hunting, he bought his own moisture meter to do preliminary checks before engaging a surveyor. I'm sure it paid for itself.

What was the hull number? Hard to believe on a 400DA and almost impossible to believe on a SERF hull.

Agreed. I would like to run my own hull number and see how closely it was in the build to that one. It's a rare 400DA that gets the level of water intrusion you describe. Did the surveyor note any previous repairs due to accidents? Anything unusual that would explain that level of intrusion?

Re: 410 Sundancer/Express Cruiser and 400 Sundancer/Express Cruiser **Official Thread

It is impossible on a serf hull number because the hull is not cored. You should call sea ray with the hull number and see if it was cored or not. Very few were as I understand it.

Re: 410 Sundancer/Express Cruiser and 400 Sundancer/Express Cruiser **Official Thread

I am doing a restoration on a 97 400 da with a serf haul and the section described is cored as well as the gunnels and lower on the sides.

Re: 410 Sundancer/Express Cruiser and 400 Sundancer/Express Cruiser **Official Thread

I need a picture of a 97 or 98 400da. I need the area around and including the bow roller. I need to see how the contour recesses for the bow roller. Thanks in advance
