With regard to the keys/switches, I believe with one or both on, your engine mounted hour meters will continue to run. Not sure if the hour meters mounted to the engines are a factory install, but that is the way ours are wired.

We have the older style systems monitor in our 1998 model. Also had a similar problem, bought a "new" panel on eBay but that wasn't the only issue.

The Intellitec Interface module was also bad. Naturally those parts are no longer available. Tried to find it at the normal sources like flounder Pounder Marine or Great Lakes Skipper, but to no avail.

After a lot of research we found these guys-

Mark Bayus
Chris Bayus
M&M RV Electronics
419-965-3014

They agreed to look at the interface module and ultimately decided to build a new one for us. It took some time, about three months, and cost $500, but it works fine.

If you could find the OEM parts, you may be able to do it for less. Otherwise it may be worthwhile to talk to those guys.

I don't know if you can adapt the newer style systems monitor or not, not to mention what other components may be needed. If it were possible that may be an improvement. Possibly someone else with more expertise on the forum could offer advice.

Good luck in any case!

Took the plunge and put Infinity flooring outdoors. I bought a 10'x20' roll and started making templates and cutting. Wanted the clean wall to wall look as best I could. Right now the steps are just set there. I plan to glue them down. Bridge and cockpit are held in place by benches and pedestals. I don't plan to edge/bind it unless the edges start fraying. Edit: iphone 4 pictures look like crap. I'll take new ones and post them.

Very nice. What was the cost of the flooring?

You can get it by the roll in the $8-$10 per sq foot range from retail sellers or direct from the manufacturer. Its actually not much more per foot cost to have an authorized retailer (such as Quint4 on this site) cut it and bind it to fit a template you make. I went the buy the roll route (even though it works out to just a little less cost) because I had a particular installation approach I wanted to use.

Does anyone knows how to remove the saloon TV Cabinet?, I'd like to install a flat TV directly to the wall

They are the Polywood 1900 Signature folding chairs. Made of recycled plastic. Very sturdy and durable and stay put. We keep them out all the time and they don't slide around at all. Even through some tough rollers offshore. We bought them on Amazon.

just to have an idea if you dont mind, how much was the cost for your new canvas it looks great
thanks for sharing

Fernando, it was about $8k using all existing hardware/frame. It also included the cockpit which is all clear vinyl.

Bill,
Does the infinity get hot?
I'd love to give you an answer but I can't. Mine is just about always shaded (bridge canvas and cockpit overhang). I'll take my shoes off today mid-day and walk barefoot on the sun exposed area and get back to you.

One thing I liked about it is I could do a full single piece for the bridge since they offer it in 10' rolls. The bridge space is about 9'x9'. I did not like at all the two piece and slit filled look of the factory bridge carpet. The 8.5' wide roll is all you need for the cockpit.

Also, yesterday I took some of the scrap I had left over and cut some mats for the two heads.

You are welcome Fernando. So I just noticed this. You have two different login IDs on this site. Interesting.

Bill
Before I had a SeaRay Sundancer 320, I wanted to change my login ID, but apparently is impossible, so I created a new one.
My new one is the name of my boat FELIZ DREAM with the new 400 sedan beige that y have under contract and I will take possession in 2 weeks.
I just found this great Forum and I am learning a lot about this new boat. Thank you for the note,

Bill,
I already did the heads. I had binding put on them. I noticed you didn't use binding. Do you think it will hold together?
