Anyone know now to remove the sliding screen saloon door can be removed to replace the rollers? I have run a search but no luck. Looks like the fixed glass panel might have to be removed?
I just learned how to do this myself. It was super easy. It was trial by error for me to figure it out. Take the track off the top and slide the door out from the bottom. You then want to match the old rollers depth to the new ones. It's also super easy to adjust the depth too. I would also advise taking a video or pictures as a guide.

Hi Dave,

Did you have any luck with this. My starboard side has a little water but port side is moving alot of water in heavy rain.
Would love to keep the water going over the sides rather the. Into the boat.

Jamie
theres also a drain in each side that drains into bilge which go bad and allow water to get into the plywood behind couches

It looked to me like the top track was not removeable and held the sliding glass panel in also. I was able to remove it by removing the stainless threshold and wood piece under it on the inside. Ordered the m shaped spring shaped rollers and hope to put back together this week. Will look closer at that top track.

I have a question for you all. My helm does not have the cabled pull system with handle to the Halon tank. It clearly was never installed. Was this a factory option? I have a 2001.

Have any of you guys changed the starborad alternator? Do I need to remove anything besides the guard? I changed the port one and it was easy because of all the room you have to do the job. TIA

We have a 1999. Does anyone know where I can get replacements for the two aluminum mesh A/C filters? They are hard to find. Thanks in advance!

I change my starboard, alternator I, cut in access hole under the salon couch to reach it easily. When I was through I made a temporary cover to cover the access hole I had made.and yes just the belt cover and tension pully

i made one up using fibreglass filter material easily found, and a frame made from renderboard edging like this https://www.blacktownbuildingsuppli...m=organic&utm_campaign=surfaces_across_google

i cut the material to size, cut the frame to size mitred, then folded the frame over the material and hammered down. it's not as stiff as the original but slides in fine. from what i've read the fibreglass is superior to alu mesh anyway

i seem to recall i could not find straight replacements googling Cruisair , Dometic etc, either that or they were too expensive

I did a quick search and didn't see anything that looked like it. Can it be repaired? A crack in the side or bottom that can be cleaned up and patched with west systems maybe?

I was reading some posts over at the AGLCA this morning and a picture was posted of a group of looper boats at Hoppie's on the Mississippi and there was a 400 DB there. CSR member? If so, shout out and let us know! Many of us would love to follow along on your adventure.

Strange happening.

Took the boat out Sunday, ran it for an hour, ran great. Anchored for a few hours, fired up generator, fired up port engine, tried to fire up starboard and it wouldn't start. Wouldn't turn over at all, tried using the parallel and still nothing. Turned the ignition switch off on the bridge and it turned the port motor off too. Tried the port engine and it wouldn't turn over without the starboard ignition switch on and parallel switch. Then couldn't release the parallel switch without it causing the port engine to turn off. Drove back to the dock on one engine, plugged her back into shore power, just for curiosity tried firing the engines up again, both fired up no problem. Shifters were in neutral.

Went back the following day, tried to repeat the problem with no luck. Turned them off and on with genset on, genset off, un plugged, parallel, etc. no issue now Oh. and batteries are 6 months old and I checked them, they are good.

Could something had got hot in my trip down and that's what caused the issue?

Just curious since you didn't mention it - did you verify that the shifters were in neutral? Mine can be slightly touchy and look like they are in neutral but they are not...

So you rode home on one engine while holding the parallel switch down the whole time so the port engine wouldn’t turn off?

I’ve seen funky stuff like that when I forgot to turn the engine breaker on that’s under the key on the power panel. Did the starboard breaker pop on you without you knowing while you were doing generator stuff?

Yes as a matter of fact it did, didn't realize it until I got back to the dock. Both of those breakers popped at different times as a matter of fact. What causes that, could it have been with the starter or alternator? Thank you for your reply.

Yes, rode home 3hours on the one engine with a piece of cardboard under the parallel switch.

well I feel dumb, i didn't know those two switches under the keys were also breakers :) some kind of subconscious dumbness as they are vertical and all the others are horizontal

It could be the slave solenoid
