Im pretty sure you can get the lense covers through the west marine web site. Shipping to your local store is free I think

I detailed ER lighting in my blog. See the blog for pics, and if you have any questions, let me know.
Dale,
I looked at your blog on restoring your 340 and all i can say is 'wow'....I am sure you have heard this many times over but your fabrication skills are impressive....Do you do this type work for a living?....The tools and equipment you have must be very extensive (not to mention expensive).....You have not only restored the 340 but have transformed it into a luxury version of the boat.....
I share the same type creativity and passion as you for improving our boats, but my skills are no where near your level....i did many upgrades and improvements to my 215EC when we had it but not to the level of your 340 upgrades...your blog has given me some good ideas for my 340 for future projects and i can only hope they turn out as nice as yours....
it is great to have you and the other 340 owners as resources to assist with issues as they arise and to bounce some of my 'ideas' off of for honest feedback before i do something stupid....
just another confirmation for me of how valuable this site can be....

I do now also run a side business (DD Fabrication & Marine), so if you need anything made, or see something you like from my blog, let me know, and I'll make it for you.
Yes, I could make it out of stainless, but it'll be pretty heavy if I match the thickness of the factory one. I'd recommend teak instead.........

If its the original light fixture, it is an e14 base bulb. I bought these LEDs in that base on ebay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/High-Qualit...20V-/321153619776?rmvSB=true&var=510128785638
I am pretty happy with them. Very bright and low heat.
Thanks....just ordered two of them......

tried to order these bulbs and they were out of stock....sent a question to the company on when they'd have them back in stock...got this reply....
"hi,thanks for your interest, sorry it's not available.the factory just stop producing it,as many buyers have some problems when using it.hope you can watch other items, many thanks!
Regards Justin

for anyone interested in an incandescent replacement bulb for the 110V 25W overhead lights in the cabin i finally found them on Amazon.....most 25W 110V bulbs with an E14 base are high heat resistant 220V (oven bulbs) so it took a little research to finally find a 110V version....

Hello all. I've been working on the floor in my boat. I dried up any water in the center compartment around the box and all. Today I noticed quite a bit of water. I ran the toilet a few times and the ac has been running. Any idea what I should check?

Does anyone have a part number and source for the LED bulb for the galley lights and cabin ceiling lights (should be the same bulb)in a 340? Also...how do we know which Vacuflush is in our boats?
