2nd Annual Dominic Annunziata Memorial Rendezvous -Farley State Marina, Atlantic City

Really nice shots thanks for sharing. If you have a dingy you have to dingy across the harbor to Gilchrist for pancakes. Best blueberry pancakes I've had!

Just got off of the Delta Jet in ATL - what a great time. Thanks Ron and Rick for what you do each year. Great to see everyone - especially Linda (Dom's widow - for those of you who are new), Rusty, and Sea Ray's newest beauty.

I'm already looking forward to next year! Ron - If I bring OSD will you dive my props too?

Another awesome rendezvous. Weather was great when we needed it to be and when it was bad it really didn't matter that much.

We headed out on Thursday around 0700. The weather you see here as we left the marina generally deteriorated for the entire ride. Not windy but plenty of fog that reduced visibility on the bay to around 1/2 mile. The plan was to run down along LBI and exit at Little Egg Inlet. But with the uncertainty of the channel this year and the fog we made the executive decision to stay on the inside all the way down. The tide was not at all favorable for an inside run but we had little choice.

By the time we got to Beach Haven it was raining pretty good, there were rumbles of thunder and the sky lit up a few times. But we soldiered on, Kinship, Sto-a-way and SeaDuced in tow. There were a few boats ahead of us we remained in radio contact with the whole time for "shoal and weather" forecasts. Another group that was going to head out Barnegat Inlet turned back b/c of the fog and wound up stuck behind my group, b/c we were all too chicken to throttle up to cruising speed. We did 8 of the 10 miles at about 7 knots. Sorry guys!

Shortly after we arrived this thing pulled up, piloted by none other than our man Captain Rusty Higgins. What a surprise!! We were also happy to see Captain Frank Webster in attendance as well. Will the surprises never cease?

Everyone had an opportunity to tour THE 650FLY. What a phenomenal vessel. Here' s a few wanna-be's...

That was it pretty much for Thursday. It rained most of the evening and night, but the front finally moved through and cleared things out for Friday's festivities.

I just wanted to use this space to thank our T-shirt sponsors this year. Great group of men. I told them what we needed per sponsor and they sent out the funds. They can all be found here on CSR and many of them are frequent posters. New this year was our host here on Club Sea Ray, Jim Maier of BOE Marine. Most of these guys have nothing to gain by sponsorship as they're scattered all around the area. And three of them couldn't even attend - but they were all more than willing to help.

First one who can match up 7 of the remaining sponsors with their CSR alias gets a t-shirt.

Couple more of the Fly as she pulled away early this morning...

Very interesting to watch this behemoth move sideways away from the dock. You can just lean on hydraulic thrusters as long as you want. No motor to burn out.

"is it too early for a hot dog"? Never! Add a HD to a Bloody Mary and it makes a great "Fighter Pilot's Breakfast"...all that is missing is Jalepeno Peppers!!!

Re: 2nd Annual Dominic Annunziata Memorial Rendezvous -Farley State Marina, Atlantic

Re: 2nd Annual Dominic Annunziata Memorial Rendezvous -Farley State Marina, Atlantic

I was behind Gary and Bob Nunn from BSHCA and was getting sick and tired of loosing plane. So I just smoked them and almost caught up to My Irene as he was pulling into his Channel!
