2023 Splash!

I was supposed to launch on 5/12, because of ice that was rescheduled to 5/26. I spent some time in the emergency room on 5/24, that caused me to miss 5/26 launch. There was an opening for launch on 6/2 so I told them to put me on the schedule. A couple days later I remembered I had a Dr appointment on 6/2 so I change that to 6/5.

The Dr wasn't impressed that I changed my appointment in order to get my boat launched...but I'm in as of 6/2.:)

I’d get a second opinion.
Just kidding of course…
Better late than never…Hope you’re doing well and enjoy your season!

At least he didn’t hit his car with his boat!
First of all that was last year and it was an accident…. Funny as shit but an accident….. @play dough got sick on a really big boat and lost a 1/4 of the summer and is looking for a trophy …. There is a big difference

Just poking fun. I really can’t talk as even though I have been in the water since April, I just got someone to work on my boat to replace the belts. Now I can go cruising also.

Nope, never made it to a cruise ship in Alaska. We were on a land tour in Fairbanks, Denali, Talkeetna, Anchorage and I finally ended up in the ER in Seward before I succumbed to illness. It's not like I really lost a 1/4 of the summer. Here in northern Michigan, the season really doesn't begin until mid June because of the midge fly hatch. Boating in the bugs isn't the best experience.

I just uncovered today… far later than usual. Weather has been unbelievably crappy after a 70 degree March.

I’m hoping to get in by May 10th, and only a few days later than the norm.

And away we go.

Happy spring everyone!

So nobody starting a 2024 "Splash" thread?
I went in 2 weeks ago but didn't take any pics so didn't post, sorry. We got out for rides on the few nice days we've had here but had to stop in the bay to replace a hose clamp second time out. Not many boats in yet in my marina but I always like having my boat in the water as close to April 1st as possible..

Waiting for my new top and enclosure to be done. Then I don't care if it is snowing, I am splashing it. Hoping for the 2nd week of may the latest.

I did manage to get the name on even though it was windier than f Saturday soon as I brought it out.
