2022 "Un" Splash pics.

Sheesh...your guys really, really didn't want to buy jack stands??? ha. Those are some serious cradles. Gotta be on your toes walking between those boats :)
That's been the way Belle Maer Harbor has stored boats for years. That's how they winter stored 30 years ago when I had my boat there. Super stable. They build them right at the hoist. Easy to move them around.

Everything's winterized but the engines. Brought her around to the marina that I winter at, which is 25-miles from Manhatten. It's going to be in the 70's this weekend and going to take one last trip to visit Lady liberty.

Love those pics! Brings back great boating (not of her or her dad) memories when we brought my ex wife's dads 420 AC from DC to NYC.

This weekend is going to be rain or so they say. I guess last weekend was the last cruise, but man in Nov almost 80. Perfect! The following weekend is night night for the girls as they get winterized. Had an awesome run this season, over a hundred hours of running time, every weekend on the boat since late April.

It's usually in the 40s - 50s here this time of year. Hit low 80s on Saturday. We got another weekend trip in. Lots of debris in the water though:

Nothing like a bonus weekend. Many times I have gone to the lake solo planning on winterizing on Saturday only to find that it would be in the 70s or 80s. Grab a 6 pack of beer. Motor out and drop anchor where I have good cell coverage, tether my tablet to my phone and watch football. Great way to waste a Saturday.

Of course then I'd have to bust ass on Sunday to get the oil changed and winterize everything so I could get home to cook Sunday dinner...

I’m out. My first boat stored on land at a marina. I winterized motors last week where we had a 70 degree Saturday. Now I’m waiting on quotes from detailers to see if they can get the blue back to life. The boat was in the water when I bought it and it really looks like the gel coat is thin, so I’m hoping local guys can work magic.
