We hauled Saturday to beat the weather that has had it raining and blowing since. A good year, but least hours and miles we’ve put on the boat in a summer season since owning it. 62 hours and just over 700 miles. Did a little cleaning up and cleaning out and put it in the building yesterday, another one in the can. It’s starting to feel like hunting season.

I'll head over Friday and see about waxing the hull while the weather is reasonable and the door can be open. It was windy and raw feeling today.

I am coming out October 18th. Wanted to be last out so I can be first in next spring. Hopefully the weather holds out so I am not doing the final stuff in the cold.

yeah, it can’t be on the edges of the building, has to be in the middle. We have to be real careful bringing it in and out the door.

Was supposed to pull this past Sunday but it started raining pretty hard as we were about to leave. Hoping to pull it this weekend but not sure if I will have time. Story of our summer...no time for the boat. Hopefully next year is better

I'd like to get out there a few more times and probably will.

I got into a teak/bright work restoration job for a dock neighbor that took over the last few weeks, but will finish that up tomorrow.

Dam you guys are depressing me, I have another month left! I still have trips planned, even when I was in NY I wouldn't come out until Nov. ... Down here I stay in all winter long, so it won't get put to bed until Thanks Giving week. Then crank it back up sometime in March.

Yeah, we have a Brrr Brrr trip to National Harbor planned for the weekend of November 5th.

After this cold wet weekend I told wife glad I got the boat out, winterize, done. Earliest ever. Still keeping zodiac on rack another few weeks in case we get Indian summer.
I feel good it’s done and tucked away.

It was a bit early for me as well. I’m at the mercy of the storage building. It’s a bit of boat Tetris.

Cleaned off the water spots from the power wash and I'll be doing a cleaner polish/wax on it Thursday. Then graphene. Then the blue hull will be done I'll do the decks later on.

My wife talked me out of winterizing on 10/15. But for the next 2 weeks it is supposed to be warm Monday - Wednesday and cool off for the weekend. Maybe I'll have to work a weekend and spend weekdays at the lake.... Our marina closes for the season November 1st, so I will plan on winterizing on the 29th.
