OK, guys let's pump it up!

Turtle, we have a cruise planned south from Charleston in February if you're interested. I tried to PM you, but your inbox is full. If you're interested, PM me with an email address or number to text.

Sadler,
How about that last weekend in March. The 30th, 31st, & April 1st & 2nd. That ties into my spring break and then we would be able to attend. Also, the later we go, the more likely the weather will be warmer that time of year. Just my 2 cents.

Works for me. Anyone have a problem with these dates?

Count us in. We have 2 other SeaRay owners that we might bring along with us that don't frequent the boards. The'y have been asking for us to accompany them to Bald Head Island (BHI).

Sounds great. We were going to try it our last season but the summer slipped away. March 30th and 31st looks like a great time.

Oh my god you guys are killing me! I so hope we get to work this in around our move, my new job and dog n kid stuff! Would love to meet everyone and finally make it to Bald Head. We would put in at Little River or Myrtle if we can swing it. I have no vaca time so it would be strictly fri evening thru sun morn.

OK, let's plan on Baldhead Island, NC from Friday March 30 to Sunday April 1. Some of us may come or leave earlier, stay more more or less, but the Friday night and Saturday plus possibly Sunday will be the "official" Rendezvous window. I've got it on my calendar, and it looks like we'll have a very good group from all around.

On the logistics for those of us boating from Charleston, I've done the run to Baldhead in 8 hours on one tank of gas, but that was really running hard. It's much more enjoyable to take your time and enjoy the sites. Maybe Turtle and I can make our way up together. It's a beautiful trip for the most part--Cape Romain and Bulls Bay, Georgetown, the Waccamaw River, Bird Island, and Oak Island. I usually split the trip into two days, anchoring out part way up. Last time I went, a friend showed me a beautiful anchorage on a part of the Waccamaw well up river, well before it becomes the ICW--photo at anchor below.

As we get closer, we can discuss more specific plans for the Rendezvous, and what there is to do on Baldhead. Should be a great trip and a great weekend!

Sadler,
I would like to meet you at the anchorage on Friday nite if you think that is when you'll be in the Waccamaw Area on that day or would it be Thursday nite. I will put in at Conway and make my way down that evening and meet ya'll.

Sounds good. Let's plan on Thursday night Tracy, so we can get to BHI Friday.

I'll do a roll call a few weeks before the rendezvous and get the boats that plan to come then call Baldhead marina and make reservations for everyone.

Roll call is a great idea. I've got a port side engine issue now and an electronics upgrade in process. I know this isn't for another month but I'm not exactly flush with cash this time of year either. Gonna do my best to pull this off...really want to meet some CSR people and this sounds like a great time!

Wish me luck!

Good luck Mike!

I would still be in but it all depends on my engines cooperating. Took the girl out of the stack late last week and found that not only is the port engine still sputtering but now the starboard engine has what I believe is a siezed water pump. The large pulley on the front of the block is not turning and it smoked the belt right before throwing it. Bust Out Another Thousand!!!! :smt021

I'm in! Mike, where are you launching from and when are you leaving! I'm leaving Thursday afternoon and launching in Conway and meeting up with Sadler and Turtle on the Waccamaw River last we talked.
