1979 SRV 207 Makeover Thread

Thanks! I'll post some more pictures of the maiden voyage of "Liv 'n' Luce", as soon as I can. A couple minor hiccups, including a dead battery, but it didn't take long and we were out enjoying ourselves on the water. Four adults and 3 kids. My two daughters caught a fish each within an hour or so of being on the water. They also enjoyed jumping off the swim platforms into the lake. 7 people, an old beat up prop, and 38 mph on GPS!

Man the wood looks great. Smile ear to ear says it all mate!! Minor hiccups are a part of boating like rubbing is to NASCAR racing. Enjoy the fruits of your labor.

Congratulations!

Been enjoying the SRV 207 for the past few summers since I did the makeover on her. Taught both my girls to waterski behind her, and we have had some great family fun on her. The only complaint I have is that the distributor gets wet and then it she's hard to start, so this year it's time for an upgrade. New electronic distributor kit from AAA Marine. Looking forward to trouble free starting this summer!

Liv'n'Luce looks great! It kinda makes me wish that I would have kept my '87 Regal and continued with the refurb. Those older boats really have lines that keep me looking. T
hanks for posting your story and have a great time with your boat and family.
