Hey Folks,
We spent 10 days in our new to us 330 DA returning yesterday. We left Midland ON, spent 2 nights in Indian Harbour, then off to Britt ON via the small craft route. Refueled and provisioned and headed out across the bay to the Bad River anchorage at the north end of the bay. We were there Tues through Saturday and had a blast. The bottom in the bad is all smooth rock. We had a good hold for a while until the wind picked up on Thursday. We ended up dragging both anchors and had to relocate to the wall where we found a pin. I little boater engineering and lots of fenders and we were settled. We dingied up the rapids several times, that was cool! (Have the prop scars to show it). The winds picked up while we where there which delayed our departure. We left sat morning at 7:00am hoping sea conditions would be better as the night was calm, but they were calling for 15-20 kt winds out of the NW. We crossed from the Bad to Point au Baril in 2M (6 ft) rear quartering seas. I'll say, the 330 held up like a champ! We were able to maintain cruise at 21 knots, topping off at 25 on the downhill of the rollers.
We spent Sat and Sun night in echo Bay in the Massassauga Park. Dinghy ride around the park revealed another CSR member Jackie JV, but we didn't stop to say hi. He did pass us coming out of the Sans Souci area though on our way home. (Man that boat throws a lot of water!).
Here are some highlights in pics: (In no particular order)

Tied to the wall.
Saw a bear. (its behind the tree, lol)
