Hi Bill, absolutely you can add a link. Sharing the weather data with everyone is a primary goal.
We just added more Lake Michigan near shore forecasts and will be adding Lake Huron next (these are drop down menus). We have more Marine Weather data in the works and soon to be posted...
1956olds, yes we are in Lake City, west side. We live on one of the small inland lakes, keep the big boat on Lake Michigan.
We developed and maintain the Lake City Weather website, adding an extensive area for Great Lakes weather - zone forecast, wind, waves, water temps. It has been a long...
Looks like the straights still have a fair amount of ice. Cutters are escorting some of the big boats through, up the St. Mary's and on into Superior. I think the water is going to be pretty cold for some time this season....
Hey Boltman, yea I'm still around - a bit older, greyer, and a lot more creaks - but still around. Good luck on the splash, hope you don't need an ice scraper. Snowing again here and now rivers flooding for some folks.
timemachine, so have you come up with anything for the sun shade? We have been trying to get something fabricated for years but no joy yet. If you have can you share?

I don’t think this is too far off the original topic.
Bill, this is the latest message I got from Raymarine. Based on the message I sent them what I could.
Begin message from RM
“Throughout the course of the Monday, Raymarine Product Support was unable to duplicate the weather related...
I have only been using the weather system since June and have used the storm track feature previously and never had a problem. This past weekend was the first time it happened. Maybe to many storms at once to be tracked :-)
Bill, yes it did appear to be directly related to having storm tracks 'displayed". When the weather screen was displayed everything was fine until I enabeled the storm tracks, the unit then went into a "reboot" cycle until I turned off storm tracks. And yea, was trying to track the hurricanes...
I had the same situation this past weekend. I traced it to Sirius Weather and having "display storm tracts' turned on. When I disabled that it was fine. Talked to Raymarine today and they confirmed they are receiving reports of this problem and it being related to the storm track feature...
