What I was wondering, can you hook up air to the dock side water intake and open everything up and charge the system with air ? Will that clear everything out ?

Someone told me that you could put Bromine tablets in the a/c strainer and it would help keep the cooling lines cleaned out ? I have never heard this before and wonder about any side effects ?? Any Thoughts ??
The best I can remember mine would go either way and the rear one was stamped in from the factory so I left it alone it seamed to be ok, but the front one would go either way then the snap ring held it in place the best I can remember...I don't know about drawings maybe google it or something ?
My bearings went out on my 6.5 BCG governor and I replaced them myself with bearings from the local bearing and seal place they had everything bearings, seals and new snap rings too....

So my generator transfer switch has a line 1 position line 1&2 position and the Generator position, when I'm at the dock I'm always in the line 1&2 position on shore power, Before I pull away from the dock I crank up the Generator and let it warm up my question is can I just throw the switch to...
The first 4 letters is the factory where it was made, the next numbers are the serial number, the next letter is the month it was made 1=jan,2=feb,3=march and so on then the last two numbers is the year of manufacture..
Probably an outdrive lock key for your outdrive. I just helped a buddy of mine cut two off with a reciprocating saw because the boat did not have the key and the outdrives had to be rebuilt...
