There may be another thread on this but I looked so I am appoligizing in advance if this is duplicated. I have a 7.5 KW Quicksilver Gen Set that intermittantly will not start. I can crak it time after time and it does not appear to be getting gas to the carburator. I have replaced the fuel pump...
Folks
I have a question...my engine will not start consistanly when you turn the key. What happen sometimes is the engine will turn over and when you release the key to try again, you will get no click and the emergency start will not even energize. We thought is might be the key switch but...
I just had my boat brought up from FLA 3 week ago and to John's point, if you have it shrink wrapped make sure it is tight. Have the guy run tape at the bottom of the wrap to secure it to the hull as well as the normal method. Have them load it stern first and this will also help with the issue...
All the carpet runners are is Sunbrella canvas. Find a color you want, make a templete with the snap locations and bring it to your local canvas guy. It sould not be to costly to have them made as the sewing is minimal if they use the edging on the runners.
Hope this helps in your quest.

Make sure that the small hose that cools your shaft seal is hooked up and not leaking. If that is not supplying water to the shaft seal...you will burn up the seal and have a problem... Start your engine and see if you can detect where the water infiltrate might be coming from.
Good Luck!
John
All went well Sea Trial was good and she is taking the boat on the 24th. Just called the shipper and I am awaiting to hear back as to when they can transport my new boat up here.
Have a good week.
All you need is a jig saw and some tape to hold the 435 templete in place. Then it is just follow the cut line. If that is not an option, order the blank panel and take it to a cabinet shop. They will be able to cut it out for you but it will cost you.
good luck.
it is a ground unlike cars that have a common ground...you need that ground to go to the ground plate or to a common ground buss within the boat. Try connecting the wire back to the groung lug on the back of the stereo chassis an I will bet your issue will be resolved.
Silver Bay is much better...the only draw back is if the stupid jelly fish decide they they want to take up residence in Silver Bay...that it the one advantage of Tices!
