It seems to be located in a container/housing unit on the starboard side of the engine. This will be the first time changing it. Boat is showing no fuel/sputtering issues. It just needs changed(2 years on this filter). Any suggestions? Helpful tips?

dropped off part of the interior to the local upholstery shop. i picked a nice light copper marine vinyl to replace the 1994 teal/gray/beige fabric that we all know and ....errr.... love? lol
She is supposed to call tomorrow with the estimate. the material is 30.00 a yard and her labor is 50.00...
we replaced our 5inch round arch lights with LED lights so if anyone has a use for

we mounted a Ollo t.v. mount this weekend and its pretty awesome.
We ordered it from amazon for around 20.00.
its all steel, tilts in/out/up/down. and folds flat against the arch when underway and the t.v. is downstairs.
we did upgrade the screws as that was the only complaint we had read...

I've always had boats/been around boats. I also own a 1996 Monterey Montura 196 bowrider.
Bit the bullet and bought a cruiser in October and every waking minute I'm off work I'm on the boat.
I'll post some pics next week after we have it pulled and bottom paint.

purchased the boat in OCtober from boating friends(rafted out with them several times before) and a good friend performed the annual maintenance on the boat. Did not top out or WOT on trial test with salesman. He mentioned he could tell the bottom was in need of paint due to its drag. No...
