Chuck nice looking boat! Noticed that you have it plugged in since obviously you have an onboard charger, but put my mind at ease, I also have an onboard charger on mine but when I charge it I take part of the cover off and open the battery compartment hatch for ventilation. Is that absolutely...
Matthew great to hear that you moved up to a cruiser. You know I have the same 210 select you had (even the same color!) and I'm contemplating trading up to a small cruiser, (maybe a 240-250 Sundancer). I only have 60 hrs on my boat and it's in mint condition. Any idea of how much I can...
Welcome aboard Ken!
As an owner of a 2007 210 Select I can tell you it's an awesome good-looking, great handling boat which you're really going to enjoy! Plus easy to trailer anywhere!
Happy Boating!
Orie
Trimming while on plane all the way down will not hurt anything except your wallet as you'll be making more frequent visits to your friendly gas station and/or marina fuel dock. Keep in mind that trimming all the way down turns your boat into a water plow, all of that resistance will reduce your...
Dennis,
This is Orie, how are you? You got me all confused buddy, as you know I have the 210 Select with the 5.0 Mercruiser V-8 and it came stock from the factory with a 19" prop. How could a 4.3 V-6 come with a 21 incher? BTW, I'm topping out at about 4700 RPM, should I be getting higher RPMs...
My ligthts are wired to the original "Docking Lights" switch that came on the instrument panel. My dealer did a very professional job, just like if it came from the factory. I'm surprised that your dealer wouldn't know about this!
The OEM for Sea Ray and just about every boat manufacturer is Innovative Lighting Inc. I had docking lights installed on my 2007 210 Select last year by my Sea Ray dealer. Here's the link to their website: http://www.innovativelight.com/
User, I know exactly how you feel as it happened to me last year. I was on my way to the lake with my SR 210 Select in tow, I was stopped at a light, when all of a sudden I got rearended by a small truck (actually it wasn't his fault as he was hit by a lady driving a late model big Mercedes so...
VTSeaRay why don't you get a Skeggard, it's about $100 but worth it, made on stainless steel, strong and easy to install right over your old skeg. Had you had one of these no way you put a hole in it like you did!
I just put one in my 210 Select, had it out on the lake with with the boat at full bore and it was no problem at all. When the flag pole goes in it feels solid and stays that way. I bought mine at Peter's Marine (where I bought my boat), they had to order it but it only took a couple of days!
I remember a few years ago talking politics with a friend and the issue of a black president came up. I said to him " mark my words Jack, we will see a black US president in our lifetime, but I'll bet you dollars to donuts that the first black president of the United States will be a...
Nice 210 mathewmiller, I have the same one as you! I love this boat however, I've been reading this thread and have had similar issues with mine, especially the hatches popping open. It's a design problem, I took it to my dealer and they installed a snap strap on the walkthrough, it helps...
I agree with you, they need to do more of them for the entire line-up. What are they being cheap and trying to save money? Say I'm on the market to buy a 210 select that's the video I want to see not the 230 Select like the one they have on the website!
