The problem is common with all Domestic Tanks were the probes get paper (Debris) on them. If you remove the 3 probes and clean them most likely you will have your fix. Remeber MASK UP extremly toxic even when empty!

I have a 2005 390 Sundancer with 8.1 HO I run my boat at 3600 to 3700 RPM and smart craft has me burning 36 to 40 Gallons per hour. I have a friend with the exact same boat as mine except he has the 8.1 and he burns aproximatley 35-39 per Hour BTW my 2005 is for sale and BOE marine is the broker.

I am a 2005 390DA I have had the boat for 4 seasons now... Love it, and you will too basically same boat. Sea Ray is very easy to communicate with and if you are still unable to find it you can call them and they will advise were they hide all components.

I recently had the same issue where the metal / chrome ring was still there, for under $15 dollars I was able to purchase from my dealer a rubber insert with a flapper. All I did was add 3M 5200 and it was fixed.

Other then the annual price increase and possibly some newer accessories there is no change. All bugs, fixes, tweaks, etc were addresed from the 2004 and 2005 390 Dancer Same boat except the newer porthole windows.

Hello to all... Brand new member... Just bought a 2005 390 Sundancer with the 8.1 SHO gas engines. Does any body have a fuel burn rate for this boat and best RPM. I am bringing the boat up from MD to NY and trying to figure the refuel stops along the way. Thanks
