    Bow thruster

    I suggest that you look at Side Shift bow thrusters. It is the most efficient way to add that type of control. 3rd year with the Side SHift on my 280DA and it is the best way to go. Here is the link: https://sideshift.com/ .

    So, I found this pump :)

    Just replaced the pump in my 280 DA. It removes the condensate from the AC and the shower drain. The float didn't work consistently so I replaced the pump and it works fine. Not a bad install, just a little crowded working on the wiring. And, yes, use crimps!

    Are you sure that you didn't hit the anchor light button? That only lights the white navigation light, not the port/starboard lights.

    Stereo 2004 280 Sea Ray

    There is a stereo amplifier switch in the electrical panel in the cabin. The amplifier is behind the mirror in the midberth.

    Read about it on the forum somewhere. Atwood LED 3NM Anchor and Masthead Light. I purchased it on Amazon for $64.30. Works great. Screw holes align but need to weather proof with marine grade caulk.

    You are better off replacing the entire unit with an LED unit. Just replaced mine with a unit using the same drill holes.

    :smt038Thanks! I replaced the old quacker with this and I'm very happy. I drilled a hole in the plastic so that the water will drain from it. The old horn was still filled with water when I took it out!

    280 DA Cabin Door Repair

    Trucks are available at teakisle.com. I have a 2008 280DA and the upper trucks needed to be replaced. My marina was able to do this without removing the door, helm etc. The Contact is Bill Shugart who was very helpful: bshugart@teakisle.com (866) 633-7961

    New this year with a 2008 with twin 4.3 mercs and Alpha 1 drives. Don't know about engine flushing. Should I be flushing with fresh water while in dock? Is it difficult to hook up the flushing kits?
