    Winterizing

I have SeaRay 410DA and have been using my marina to winterize the fresh water system however I would like to do myself. I think the process is to completely drain water tank, drain the water heater, bypass it, put Pink in the tank (not sure how many gallons) run all taps and heads until steady...

Not getting fuel to Port engine

I am experiencing a problem in getting fuel to the port engine on my year 2000 SR410DA. My system has Racor 500MA filters, one for each 3116 Cat diesel engine. I also have fuel selector valves where I can switch from port to starboard tank for each engine. When the port engine is started with...

    Hydraulic Lift Platform on SR410DA

I have a 2000 Sea Ray 410 with a Hydraulic swim platform on which I park my dinghy. The lift is rated at 800# and the dinghy weighs in at 550# with motor. The lift had been working fine up until I launched the boat this year after winter storage. While the lift does raise completely without the...

Remote for Hydraulic Swim Platform 410 SR

I am experiencing a problem with the remote control unit for my swim platform. Does anyone know where I could obtain a replacement? Batteries are good, it is the down function that does not work reliably. I would assume (but not sure) there would have to be a frequency match and I have no idea...

    Winter Storage Cover for 280DA

I have a custom winter storage cover for a Sea Ray 280 Sundancer. The cover was used for 2 winters and was custom built by a local convas shop. The cover is in excellent condition, no rips or tears. Cost new $1,800, asking $1,000

R41xx Raster Scanner Radar for sale

I removed this RayMarine R41xx and scanner from my 2000 Sea Ray 410. The system was working great when I removed it, I just wanted to update to digital. I do not have the cable as I was unable to remove that. This would be a great replacement if you have the same system that is not working...

    Sea Ray 410 Recessed lighting

I have original recessed ligths in my SR410 galley. They have trim ring with adjustible eyeball in the middle. I am trying to remove to replace a bulb but I cannot figure out how the trim ring comes down. I tried prying the outer edges (just short of damaging it) and tried turning the ring. Does...

    Electronics Upgrade for SR410 DA

I have recently purhased a 2000 - SR410da with a complete RayMarine electronics package, albeit 12 year old stuff. I would like to upgrade the Radar and GPS. I operate mainly in the Upper Mississippi area. Present equipment is: Ray Pilot 650; Ray Chart 601xx; R41xx Raster Scanner Radar; Nav 398...

280 DA Throttle and shifter cables

I want to replace the throttle and shift cable in my 2003 280DA twin 4.3 Bravo I and need to get the correct length. My manual unfortunately only shows 3 cables, 15ft, 16ft (which I assume is Starboard engine) and 19ft - which is probably one of the Port side. However that leaves me guessing on...

Lowrance 3500 Depth Finder display head

My display LED on my Lowrance 3500 depth finder is starting to mal function. This is a discontinued model and does not seem to be supported in any way by Lowrance. I would like to replace the head only, not transducer, however that is proven to be quite hard to find. Does anyone know of another...

    hatch

Does anyone know where I could find parts for the hatch support on my 2003 280DA? The threads on the Locking mechanism on one support is stripped. Unfortunately, it is the threads in the receiver portion, not the knob/bolt portion. Since posting this I found the part at Go2Marine

    Best slow cruise speed

I have a 2003 280DA (first twin I have owned) and was wondering if anyone can recommend the most efficient slow cruise speed. I have been running around 1200 RPM which provides a nice slow cruise but I am concerned about the amount of fuel I am using. Any thoughts on the matter would be appreciated.
