Dennis, The one at the helm does work and comes from the bus bar under the helm but no sign of the mysterious wire #590. Also, the 12 volt receptacle in cabin is 10ga wire (#590) and the helm is more like 12-14 ga. Russ

When it runs by holding down the start switch, what is the voltage being put out on the AC side?

Is your boat moored or on a trailer? If it's moored, is there any possibility the bilge pump is kicking on and drainig the battery?

It's a great boat covedog. I have a 2000 w/ the 5.7 and Bravo 3's and the boat has more than enough power. I would think the 4.3's w/ alfas would be good also. Does your boat have a generator? The generator and AC/heater is a nice option. I can't think of anything particular to watch out for...

Steve, Is that the original radio that came with your boat? If it is I have the whole radio you can have for whatever it cost's to ship it to you as it's been sitting in a drawer for the past 2 years. Nothing wrong with it, works fine, I just wanted DSC. Russ.

Using Lowrance LMF 400. Have not switched sensors but have recalibrated them. Guess I'll switch em and see what happens. Russ.
