I am in need of a new mechanical fuel pump for my boat. I have a 1977 SVR 240 with a OMC GM 350 engine. There are so may simular types of fuel pumps, and I sure the look has changed since my old one was made. I think that the Sierra 18-7268 may be the replacement. Any help would be great folks.

All I can say is torque it down good. I just replaced mine, and when I got back to shore, two of the three bolts came loose. If you use lock tight, use the blue, not the red. Red is for permanant and the blue can be broken loose, just takes a little effort, but it won't come loose...
