Congrats on the new Sea Ray Select. My wife and I also purchased a 2006 Sea Ray 200 Select this year and enjoy the site as well as the boat. Let me know if you have any questions about your boat. I am jealous of your location. Enjoy your new toy!!
I pull my 21' 2006 sea ray select with tandem trailer using a 2002 Escalade. The boat is around 3500lbs and the trailer is another 1500lbs for a total of 5000lbs. I haven't had any issues. The nice feature is the auto-leveling that the truck does which helps ensure a smoother tow.
Welcome Finch....congrats on your purchase. St. CLoud, MN boater here, but would like to explore parts of WI next year. Always good to see posts from nearby boaters.
Hi,
I just bought a 2006 200 select with the 4.3mpi. I was concerned about the power before I purchased the boat. The power has not been an issue for me at all. I do recommend a high 5 prop which definitely increases my hole shot and ability to plane. I am losing mph on the top end, however...
Riverrat...thanks for the response. If we get that far south next summer I will let you know. A local guide is priceless. Good luck on finding a new boat.
Jeff...thanks for the link. I am definitely going to order the book and probably buy another one for our friends. Exactly what I was looking for. P.S. Very nice boat!!!
I know the boating season is coming to an end here in Minnesota, however, I just bought my 1st boat this year and enjoyed boating along the Mississippi in and around the St. Cloud area. We found a nice sandbar and met some great people.
I would love to find out some new spots in...
I've negotiated $22,500 for a 2006 Sea Ray 200 Select with 45 hours, aftermarket ski tower, speakers, shorelander trailer...but it only has the 4.3L engine.
Is this a good deal for this Sea Ray boat with those options????
I'm buying a 2006 Sea Ray Select in 7 days. I think I've found a nice deal can anyone confirm or deny?
Here are the specs. 2006 Sea Ray 200 Select 45hrs has an aftermarket ski rack and speakers, dual axle shorelander trailer, boat cover....one drawback is it only has the 4.3L engine.
Any...
Thanks for the quick responses....I am beginning to like this site already. I edited my post. I am considering the 2006 Searay 200 select. I mainly boat on the river in Minnesota and hitup the local sandbar and an occassional lake with my friends.
Hi...New to the message board area. Question...I'm about to close on a deal for a 2006 Searay 200 select boat this weekend. It has the Wakeboard option and high five stainless steel prop. It only has the 4.3L fuel injection motor. The sea ray dealership says it will be ok to pull up skiers, the...
