I am reinstalling a windlass davit on my 96 270 Sundancer. Is the pulpit structural if I use wood screws with 5200? I removed 4 wood screws and 2 bolts. The 2 bolt nuts fell off inside the pulpit.

1996 Sun Dancer. Would like to install new snaps for overlay carpeting on floor in berth in front of sink and bathroom. Sounds like metal under current carpet? Is that a reinforcement or should I not install there? Thanks.

I also purchased a Simrek. I have never seen a Mercruiser brand. From my reading and talking around the marina I'm sold on the idea. There not the cheapest item but nothing is on a boat.

The fluid on the left is what I got out. I did run the boat harder than the year before and it was almost the same color as out of the bottle then. Ill be putting a shower on here in a few. Thanks.

Will a Bravo 1 or 3 drive shower work on a Bravo 2? I am unsure if the top caps are the same and am looking at a top mount shower from another vessel.

I have a leak from my upper steering swivel seal. We have decided to go the JR Marine route. What items are need for a Bravo 2 besides the pin, seal and cover? Bushings?

I have read multiple articles on greasing the engine coupler on my Bravo. is the LUCAS Marine multi purpose grease ok for this? It is NLGI #2

I ran the engine until hot using muffs and then rain the anti freeze in until the exhaust was pink? I then pulled all the blue drains on the engine and risers.

Thanks for the info. They look rather large and I don't remember seeing one so I must be without. Just changed the cap and rotor and didn't see anything. Yup have the pump and fluid. Just cant see a cooler? What i'm after is I winterized my engine (Northern Michigan) with anti freeze through...

96' Sundancer 270 7.4 Merc Bravo 2. I removed the tube going into the out drive and was not able to blow into it so i'm pretty sure it's not the cause. Is there anything in the outdrive that could be plugged or broken causing my speedo to not work? I removed the gauge also and it appears ok...
