Great! Have you been there long? Can you use the water and electricity? I noticed a pretty long hose near the building. That's one thing I've been concerned about, not having room at home to clean, wax, etc.
I'm trailering and keeping it in covered storage in Ballentine. Unfortunately I don't have the space to keep it at the house. It was a tough decision because there was a very very nice '03 220 at SR of Cola (may still be there). But it came down to the fishing.
But I'd still like to hang around! It was a really hard decision to sell my boat, but at least I sold it to my brother so it's still in the family. I got a Scout Dorado 222 for it's fishing capability and it's better suited for trips to the coast. Can I still stick around?
I've kept my boat in dry storage for 10 years. I am thinking about bringing it home. My question is this: if I've got a good cover, why should I be concerned? Is it really that much of a difference?
Does anyone have any problems with a perko stern light? I've spent HOURS trying to figure out why the bulb won't stay tight enough to stay lit while underway. I've replaced the light, I've tried different bulbs. I don't think it's the light receptacle because if I hold the bulb with my hand...
