But I'd still like to hang around! It was a really hard decision to sell my boat, but at least I sold it to my brother so it's still in the family. I got a Scout Dorado 222 for it's fishing capability and it's better suited for trips to the coast. Can I still stick around?

Fantastic choice on the Scout! I looked at the 262 Abaco to replace my Parker - I decided to get a cruiser and keep the Parker. They make a fantastic boat and I still may get one someday - I love the 4 stroke Yamaha's.

Well I guess we have to have a token "Scout" owner since we have a couple token other brands:thumbsup:

Just keep in mind you will be required to take a Sea Ray previous owner loyalty test from time to time.:smt043:lol:

Let's see some pictures of your new boat.

Is that a boy scout, girl scout or cub scout?

I was thinking the same thing:lol::smt043:lol:

Back when I was a boy scout I told everybody I was really a Girl Scout since I was scouting for girls all the time.

Ok back on topic.:smt024

Nice choice, Mike. I was looking at 202/205 Dorados this spring. Scout makes a very nice boat. As others have mentioned, we need some pics.

I made a similar move a few months ago. Those Sea Ray bowriders sure are fun, but they’re not intended to be fishing machines, especially in coastal waters. Enjoy your new boat!

I'm trailering and keeping it in covered storage in Ballentine. Unfortunately I don't have the space to keep it at the house. It was a tough decision because there was a very very nice '03 220 at SR of Cola (may still be there). But it came down to the fishing.

Well hello neighbor. The only thing between our two boats is a Monterey on a single axle trailer.

Great! Have you been there long? Can you use the water and electricity? I noticed a pretty long hose near the building. That's one thing I've been concerned about, not having room at home to clean, wax, etc.

Several years. I do use the hose and elec. Are you suppose to? Don't know, but no one has told me NO yet. You may want to bring your own nozzle as both of theirs are shot.

here are some pix, as requested... and one with my son's first shark!

and an outboard with an open back end so water can leave the boat quickly that comes over the front... Something that is important in a smaller boat used offshore.

Good looking boat! The shark looks like it should go into an a saltwater tank at home(Grin)
