I have 86 268 weekender and it's getting time to replace the carpet in the cabin. What have u guys used? did u also install underlayment as well? Right now the current carpet is glued to the fiberglass. The wife would like to have some cushiion under her feet.

I have a 1986 268 weekender. Which is a very heavy boat. I replaced the 5.7 with a 5.7 vortec engine. I can run all day at 30 mph at 3600 rpm's. I can keep the boat cleanly on plane at 2800 rpms.
