Gary, we live in Michigan and i'll trade our winters for yours, as for winterizing your holding tank & toilet i have only just poured a gallon or two of the pink rv antifreeze in toilet and flushed it down. I have done this for 15 or 20 years with no problems.

Jeff, i have used the pink stuff for around 20 years without any problems here in Michigan. I have also used it for the past 7 years in my sprinkler system up north and no problems there either.

Twin screw diesel trawler would be safe and comfortable with a good cruiising range. There are trawlers out there that move at a pretty decent pace so you wouldn't have to worry about rag boats passing you.

Searaycruisin, over the past 30 years i have had a few sets of canvas made for me by reputable canvas shops and they have always done a good job for me. Ask the shop for references to some of their work, with all the Sea Rays out there they should be able to put you in touch with a few owners.

While any type of Boating education will help the novice, just remember, there are over 100 million drivers on the road who have a card ( license ) and about 50,000 die each year. They need to practice what they learn.

Many years ago i seen a couple in Michigan going into an inland lake. They are very slow but they work.

Years ago we had an f28 trojan with a pretty good door lock and the kind thief just took out all the screws on the hinges opened the door and stole what they wanted.

Try going to a carpet store and tell them that you want a name of a carpet installer for your boat, the installer needs the work and will usually do the job for under $150.00. He will tell you how many yards to buy and you will get a proffessional job. I did this ywice and both jobs came out great.
