I installed the fusion MS-IP600G with two remotes and could not be more pleased. No more hookie cigarette plug radio players that offer poor sound quality. As was pointed out earlier, you plug your ipod inside the unit and get great would quality. It was a plug and play installation too.

What about a portable generator like a Honda and a pigtail? I won't power everything, but is a much cheaper option.

I replaced my Raymarine stuff with new Garmin. I installed the 5208 chartplotter, GMR18HD radar and the GSD22 sounder. I could not be happier with the Garmin product. It is easy to use and seems bullet proof.

I am not sure about the dimensions of that unit but I would recommend the Garmin 5208 or you could get the 740, which is a smaller version.

I am going to the boat in a couple of hours and can measure mine than. How are you going to power it? Do you have an inverter installed?
