What does everyone do for a living?

Well I'm another IT Engineer (Cisco) who also owns investment real estate and somehow owns a successful tattoo shop. Did I mention I have a clinically diagnosable fear of needles?

Retired NYPD, then PI and security consultant for last 10 years, now semi-retired as of January 1st. Plan on doing just enough PI work now to help with my boating and car habits, and more time playing with the toys.

I figured I'd see more doctors on here.

Cyber Security Analyst here. Also do some side work in Real Estate and have an investment property.

1. I have the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
2. I am not easily angered by rude or thoughtless people
3. I have the ability to negotiate large equipment in tight spaces at various speeds ranging 0-70 MPH
4. I am away from home for 2-4 days at a time including holidays and family events

But on a more serious note, I've been a truck driver for the last 20 yrs, and have owned my own truck since 2002.
And wife is a Registered Nurse which helps to fund my boating habit ;)

Went to college got a Marine Engineering degree and USCG Third Assistant Engineers license, not many shipping jobs in the early 80's. Got a Nuclear Engineering degree, company I worked for retired its nuclear plant after running at only 5% of full power. Persevered, became a Plant Manager, got an MBA in finance and....Bingo.....ultimately headed up the BD/M&A group of a multinational energy company. Retired at 53 in 2014. Phone rang, went back to work, now run the Power & Energy business for one of the largest construction companies in the world. Sometimes an education, hard work and a bit of luck pays off....

I work in marketing for an orthopedic device manufacturer.

Been a business manager most of my career and the past 9 years I was a program manager. I'm currently a Maintenance Manager of a 125,000 sq. ft. commercial laundry. But only for a while longer then retirement.

I'm an architect with an MBA in finance specializing in project management for the design of healthcare facilities, primarily large scale hospitals. Currently a Principal leading the business development and project management for an international design firm. My recent personal projects are in California, Oregon, Washington and South Korea. Have also worked on hospital projects in India and Bangladesh. But I'd rather be tinkering on my boat.

Captain was originally a Senior Project Manager/Engineer for the UK MoD, I was always in accounting/banking. Moved to the US on diplomatic status in the nineties as he worked at Boeing, Seattle on the AWACS. That was a VERY interesting experience! Decided not to return to the UK and underwent a completely different career change and we now own two independent private practice Audiology clinics doing everything from hearing aids to Baha and Cochlear Implant devices. Best move for our family we ever did too!

25 years of Microsoft Dynamics ERP Accounting Software sales. Currently I sell Microsoft DCAA compliant Accounting software to the Government Contractor market to replace Deltek, Quickbooks, and Jamis. www.pvbs.net

Different animal in California with the OSHPD requirements huh?

So somebody on CSR knows about OSHPD :smt101
I'm convinced after working around the world that California is the most difficult place in the world to design and building a hospital. The permit review phase alone averages 2 years.
