Jones Beach Air Show

How long do I have until the airshow?

Just leave the bridge alone. We need at least one functional floor.

The galley looks great. I can't wait to see the whole thing.

And yet not a spec of saw dust were? Cut vacum install repeat

I hope they don't cut inside, I don't care how good of the vacuum there is, the dust will find its way all over.

Good point.... I feel stupid lol :smt021

Don't feel too stupid, I did cut some inside. I had the vacuum stuck in the port on the back of the saw. It worked pretty well. I guess when it comes time to cut all the hardwood pieces I will do it outside.

There are some shallow spots mid channel east of the Sloop Channel Bridge and entering into Zachs Bay. I found that if you stay closer to the Right side of the channel, [near the Red buoys] there is more water. Don't hug the greens!

I just checked the tides and looks like we have favorable tides by Sloop Channel Bridge. Does anyone know if there are any unusual obstructions that would affect the vertical clearance?

I'll check if LNMs have anything posted.

Other than "Sloop Channel Daybeacon 16 - STRUCT DEST" I don't see anything official, at this time.

Norwalk ct? to zacks in 3 hours? Really? I would think much longer?

Door to door it is only 70 NM, I did not consider any currents (tides) for or against us on the trip, only we cruise in neutral currents at 24kts per hour. I can normally make the Statue of Liberty in under 2 hours.

If they would just build a canal across the island:smt021

Hey alex one morning next weekend can u spend a couple minutes with me and teach me how I would look that up on the charts? (Mile numbers ect) I have a simple understanding but would really like to learn the real way. I depend on electronics to much and I know that will bite me in the ars one day

For anyone staying over the Friday night Memorial Day weekend, Barry Gibb, [Beach Boy] is playing at the Jones Beach theater. With an easterly wind, you can hear the concerts from Zach's bay..............assuming he still has a voice!
