I have heaters in mine because I like to hang out when the grand kids get on my nerves plus it keeps the condensation from forming all over the engines and rusting.

I have both... But I have to heat the engine room (oil pan heaters) and the lazarette (Xtreme heater). You don't have a lazarette to worry about....

I don't have any rusting problems on my engines, and don't have any heaters, but have three 110V humidifiers, 2 in cabin and 1 in the cockpit, running 24-seven. :)

THis is what you really need. Propane fired, cylinder out on the deck. Worked great for this guy.

Ok, I think i've made up my mind. Alex, for Christmas you can get me the oil pan heaters.
 
Hell, the whole damn boat is falling apart! No nit-picking. Word is it that creampuff eventually sold for $20K.

the 250 watt works good for you? looks like the 500w is recommended. Also do you have the thermal cube plug?
 
I can't seem to get the search function working here! I posted all about the reasons I used the smaller pads a few years ago. I'm lucky that I remember I put them on....let alone remember why I did and why I chose the size units I did.

BTW Mike, I also have a 750W BoatSafe bilge heater. I won't be using it this year. If you want, stop by on your way down to visit Gitana and you can borrow it for this season until you make a more permanent decision.

It's probably that Patron Coffee stuff. Now we have a bottle of it at home. Thanks for killing a few more of my brain cells.
